Farm to Plate, Sweet Potato Pies!

Back on October 6th, 2023, Heritage Community Farm and our ORCA students harvested some of the most beautiful sweet potatoes. We then donated them to Chef Lightner and his Battery Creek High Culinary students. Today, they sent back 60 pies from those same sweet potatoes we sent them.

From farm to table, everyone truly enjoyed this tasty desert.
